Akemi Kochiyama at AAPIP 35th Anniversary Conference

AAPIP’s 35th Anniversary Conference is in Chicago next month and Akemi Kochiyama will be moderating the final plenary, “Activism & Organizing at the Intersections,” a conversation with charles long of Movement for Black Lives, Shelby Chestnut of the Transgender Law Center, Makalika Naholowa’a of the Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation, Sandy Ho of the Disability & Philanthropy Forum, and Melisa Laelan, Chief Executive Director of Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese (ACOM).

This plenary will explore and lift up powerful examples of cross racial, cross movement solidarity efforts along with creative ideas for funding at the intersections of social justice movements!
