All Out Against ICE!

To our Tsuru family in the Bay Area: We need you to stand with us to keep ICE out of Dublin!

Join Tsuru for Solidarity for a powerful rally TODAY, March 1 at 12 pm, to demand that ICE halt plan to detain hundreds of immigrants in Northern California at the infamous, abuse-ridden FCI Dublin federal prison. We cannot allow this notorious facility to reopen as an ICE detention center. This is our opportunity to be the allies we needed during WWII and stop ICE from opening another concentration camp in California.

FCI Dublin was permanently closed last year thanks to powerful survivor-led organizing following years of horrific staff sexual abuse, mistreatment, and medical neglect. Survivors also uncovered inhumane and unsafe physical conditions at the facility, including mold, asbestos, and crumbling infrastructure. ICE as signaled serious interest in reopening this site of abuse and neglect, and has reportedly toured the prison twice in recent weeks. FCI Dublin was shut down for good reason, and must remain closed. We cannot allow these horrors to continue under ICE’s control.

We are organizing with a coalition of partners across Northern California who are demanding
1. Permanent Closure: FIC Dublin must stay closed — for ICE and for any future incarceration.
2. No More Detention: We will not let ICE open a new detention facility anywhere in California
3. End Abuse: We will not stand by while ICE continues to inflict suffering through abuse, solitary confinement, and medical neglect.
